Stoneware is most excellent for serving chilled beverages.   This is a beautiful hand thrown pitcher.   It has a hand formed handle with a thumb rest and a really nice hand formed button at the base of the handle. It was glazed with temmoku, then overglazed with lung chun and chun blue.  These natural colors blend well in most decor's.  Wood fired to cone 9 in reduction.
